Universal Fabric Structures, Inc. (UFS), a global provider of fabric building systems, has announced it has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) contract for its TFS® fabric shelters. The UFS contract number is GS-07F-0032T, and the contract period is for five years.
“We are very pleased to offer our government customers the option to purchase via the GSA Advantage system. GSA is a much more simplified way of purchasing our products, and we’re proud to be a part of it,” said Michael Belisle, UFS Government Business Director.
While this contract is designated specifically for UFS’ TFS® Series, UFS also offers a broad range of products for military and industrial applications. UFS has plans to expand its product offerings through GSA in the near future.
The TFS® Series of structures is Universal’s premium aluminum frame product line that delivers a striking appearance and adaptable, durable performance in any climate. Engineered using the principle of the peaked arch profile, the TFS® has proven its viability and versatility on projects ranging from tennis facilities to airplane hangars. The TFS® is aesthetically pleasing, relocatable, airtight, expandable, adaptable, and reliable.
Federal customers can now access information about UFS products through the GSA Schedules e-Library (http://www.gsaelibrary.gsa.gov/) by searching by the contract number or keywords denoting the product being sought. They can also place orders on-line through GSA Advantage (http://www.gsaadvantage.gov/).
With a broad range of products developed specifically for military and industrial applications, UFS is currently focused on manufacturing and distributing their TFS® style buildings. Future plans will be to expand the product offering on GSA.
This Schedules program is the Government’s foremost acquisition program in use today. Structured like commercial buying practices, it is the fastest, easiest, and most effective contracting vehicle currently in place. The program was created to help customer agencies comply with all the rules and regulations to buy products and services correctly.
